I'm Florent Le Pape, a French software engineer specialized in artificial intelligence. I am passionate about software development and personal development — and I build products where those three things meet.
Humans seek comfort by default. Great systems turn that instinct into leverage. People improve faster when the right actions become the easiest ones to take. I use software and AI to make that true in practice.
I currently work as a software engineer at Datawords in Paris. Independently, I design and ship products such as Goalify, a personal execution system that turns goals into daily behavior, and DailyProof, an app that makes daily commitments visible.

- When to use daemon, user, and virtual threads. Use a user thread when the process must wait for the work to finish; mark it daemon when exit may drop it; use virtual threads for many waiters, not one clock.
- Grill the idea before you build. Grill the idea before you build. Questions first. Then the spec. Then the work.
- When to use debug, info, warn, and error. Four levels. Debug is the movie — off in production. Info is expected. Warn means you continue. Error means it broke.
